MLS Headlines, Roundup, and USMNT Chatter



Hey, soccer fans! Welcome back to The Sons of a Pitch: An American Soccer Podcast. Tonight, we cover all the happenings from an action-packed week of Major League Soccer (MLS).

In the Eastern Conference, Toronto FC has risen to the top and is Supporter Shield favorites. In the Western Conference, Sporting KC keeps winning without an offense, and Portland just keeps winning. Period.

Team Previews Pt. 4 – Colorado Rapids, Red Bulls New York



Welcome back, soccer fans, to The Sons of a Pitch: An American Soccer Podcast. In tonight’s episode, recorded February 3, 2020, our hosts preview the Colorado Rapids and Red Bulls New York. One team looks poised to make some noise, while the other is in a complete roster re-build.

Joining the hosts is Joseph Samelson of Rapids Republic, a credentialed Rapids reporter and devoted soccer fan.
